ANU-Mobile App

In the holidays at the beginning of this year, Imagine Team started development on a new idea for a mobile app. We wanted to make an App for everything Australian National University related. We initially began development on a timetable feature, course details lookup, amongst other things.

As part of our final year of various university degrees, the whole of Imagine Team formed a group for the year long Software Engineering group project. We proposed our own project (Our beginnings of ANU-Mobile) to the lecturer (Lynette Johns-Boast), which she approved. She then put us in contact with the ANU’s Division of Information.

One year on, with much help from the ANU DOI in the form of easy access to data, Imagine Team have released ANU-Mobile. The ANU DOI may release an official App at an undetermined point in the future. In the meantime, please try out our App, and let us know what you think!

Currently you can download ANU-Mobile for Android here, or check out a lite web version here. We intend to release ANU-Mobile on iPhone, Windows Phone 7, and Blackberry.

Thanks for the heads up Tom. Meant to remove that link, but forgot to. ANU asked us to take it down, as they were developing their own app. You should check it out- some of our work with them is in there! :)
